With our Greenville Zoo membership, we also get into other zoos around the country for free or half off. It makes a good deal even better! Since the kids and I had off for President’s Day, we all decided to check out the Western NC Nature Center in Asheville. The Nature Center has a lot of rescued animals there such as owls, wolves, and coyotes. All of the animals there are native to the region. It’s a really beautiful setting with very natural environments for all the animals. We had a great time and got to go to Salsa’s afterwards for lunch. Yum!
